A Searchable Home for a 53-Book Catalog
Cantonfield Publishing had 53 titles across 13 genres and nowhere to send readers. We designed and built a custom website that organizes the entire catalog and is structured, page by page, to be found in search.
53 Books, and No Place to Send Readers
Cantonfield Publishing is an independent publisher in Tacoma, WA, with a catalog that started as bedtime stories and grew into 53 titles across children's fiction, self-help, business, faith, and more.
Every book lived on Amazon, but there was no home base. No single place that showed the full catalog, introduced the authors, or helped a reader find the next book to pick up. A growing publisher needs a front door, and search engines need pages they can actually read.
What a Publisher's Site Has to Do
Make a large catalog browsable. 53 titles across 13 genres is a lot to navigate. Readers need to filter by what they actually want, whether that's a picture book, a business guide, or a self-help read.
Give every book its own page. A catalog buried in one long list is invisible to search. Each title needs a page of its own to surface when someone searches for it by name or by topic.
Hand readers off cleanly to buy. The site's job is discovery; the purchase happens on Amazon. The path from "this looks good" to "buy it" had to be a single click.
A Custom Catalog Built for Discovery
A full, browsable catalog. Every title organized by genre, with author pages and featured selections so readers can find the right book fast.
A page for every book, author, and genre. Each one is its own indexable page, which gives search engines real content to rank and gives readers a direct link to share.
An SEO structure that matches how people search. Titles, genres, and authors are organized so the site can surface for the searches readers actually make, not just the publisher's name.
A fast, clean hand-off to Amazon. Each book page links straight to its Amazon listing, so discovery on the site turns into a sale without friction.

About This Project
Q: What did Cascade build for Cantonfield Publishing?
A custom website and SEO structure for the publisher's full catalog: 53 titles across 13 genres, with book, author, and genre pages built for search discovery and a clean hand-off to Amazon.
Q: How does a catalog website help with SEO?
By giving every book, author, and genre its own page. Search engines can only rank pages they can find and read, so individual pages turn a buried catalog into dozens of entry points from search.
Q: Can the publisher add new books over time?
Yes. The site is built so new releases can be added to the catalog as they publish, each with its own page.
Have a Catalog That Deserves a Home?
Books, products, or services: a site built for search turns a scattered catalog into something readers and customers can actually find.
